We were waiting for September to see some upturn… but it hasn’t shown up. Despite the slight recovery of tourism during summer, it quickly decreased. Companies are still expecting more visibility and they have re-organised their services to reduce sanitary risks of their employees.
By all accounts, given the advances in research to find vaccines and treatments, we will have to wait at least until the end of 2021 to return to an activity comparable to that of 2019.
The coming months are useful to transform your company: increase productivity by realising substantial savings, drive the quality of service upwards and interconnect your platform with strategic partners.
While all major actors are focused on Maas (“Mobility as a service”), the technical ability of a taxi platform to create bridges with other mobility players or public/private partners, will be key to its ability to bounce back.
