EDITO

Hello,

We were waiting for September to see some upturn… but it hasn’t shown up. Despite the slight recovery of tourism during summer, it quickly decreased. Companies are still expecting more visibility and they have re-organised their services to reduce sanitary risks of their employees.
By all accounts, given the advances in research to find vaccines and treatments, we will have to wait at least until the end of 2021 to return to an activity comparable to that of 2019.

The coming months are useful to transform your company: increase productivity by realising substantial savings, drive the quality of service upwards and interconnect your platform with strategic partners.
While all major actors are focused on Maas (“Mobility as a service”), the technical ability of a taxi platform to create bridges with other mobility players or public/private partners, will be key to its ability to bounce back.

Future starts now.

THE FLEETIZEN FEATURE OF THE MONTH

MCUSTOMIZED “EVENT MANAGEMENT”

Decide what types of events will be handled by the call centre vs. treated automatically

Customer/driver satisfaction and the profitability of your operations are based on a balance between Quality and Productivity. By deciding which ride events you want to process manually and which ones the platform will be able to process automatically, you will find a local optimum for your specific business conditions.

BEST PRACTICE

MAAS TREND

“Mobility as a service” : the idea that mobility needs to be more integrated because the end customer wants to move from point A to point B, even if this requires to resort to different means of transportation.

Both public (State, regions, local authorities) and private sectors are carrying out Maas projects, and major mobility players are partnering with them.

By relying on modern digital solutions, taxis will have all the tools they need to become a central player in Maas and make advantage of their strengths: professionalism, excellent territorial coverage, stable pricing, access to bus lanes.

So what are we waiting for?

Fleetizen is at your disposal to address these topics and help you to evaluate local opportunities (opportunity analysis, risk analysis, technical requirements, etc.).
